Weekend Fun

We had a fun time with Grandma Philipoom and cousins. A couple of days before they came to visit Kolo asked me nonstop "are my cousins here yet?" He was quite excited when they finally came. We had a busy weekend.

Thursday night we went out to Homedale with friends for a bbq and the big waterslide. A family friend of Kendall's has this HUGE waterslide in his backyard that he let us use. The kids had a blast! We formed trains down the slide, competed to see who could go the fastest and travel the furthest in the pool at the bottom, and did all sorts of tricks.

Kolo and Akili weren't really interested in riding the slide, but they loved the tire swing and playground. Race and Kolo on the swing:

Friday day we headed to the splash park:

Friday night we headed downtown for ice blocking. It was a lot easier than I thought it'd be considering you're sitting on a very small piece of ice!

We finished the day with ice cream. Potato ice cream.


Ok, not real potato ice cream. Just ice cream in the shape of a potato. Topped with sour cream (whipped topping) and gravy (chocolate sauce).
